HENDRICKSON GRADUATES LSU BANKING SCHOOL

BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 20,2022) – Joey Hendrickson, Vice President, Director of Consumer & Small Business Underwriting for Southern States Bank, was among the 192 bankers who received a graduation diploma on June 3, 2022, from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.  This three-year program provides courses covering all aspects of banking, economics, and related subjects.

Sponsored by 15 southern-state bankers associations, in cooperation with the Division of Continuing Education at LSU, the banking school required attendance on campus for three years, with extensive bank study assignments between sessions.  The faculty consists of bankers, business and professional leaders, and educators from all parts of the U.S.

During their three summer sessions at the Graduate School of Banking, students receive 190 hours of classroom instruction, planed evening study, and final examinations at the end of each session.

“We are proud of Joey and congratulate him on his successful completion of the LSU Graduate School of Banking,” said Brandon McBay, Senior Vice President, Head of Credit Administration. “It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to obtain this degree and we are confident Joey will apply his knowledge every day at Southern States Bank.”
